Every year, we replace outdated means of transport with the most modern solutions. Currently, we have truck-tractors of MAN, VOLVO and Mercedes brands that meet the EURO6 emission standard as well as pilot cars, meeting the requirements of the same standard.
Our company’s fleet is constantly being modernised by purchasing new vehicles equipped with ecological engines, which allows us to minimise the negative impact on the environment.
Recycling is also of great importance for the company’s pro-ecological environmental policy. Primarily, all car tyres, machine park waste, including workshop waste as well as office waste are recycled.
Having in mind the environment protection, the drivers working for BEDMET use environmentally friendly driving techniques. Smooth driving, proper gear shifting and tyre pressure as well as removing unnecessary accessories saves from 5% to 25% of fuel. Savings are also achieved by avoiding short trips and stops with the engine running, proper trip planning and limiting the use of electrical devices, such as heating, air conditioning and window heating.
